On Aug. 23th, 2009, we went to Turtle Island Tour organized by PT. Bali Coral! I thought that it’s not necessary to see turtles in Bali… But, when I visited there, I could meet so many other kinds of creatures beside turtles, and it’s a small zoo. I took pictures with them and touch with them; I could spend fun time than what I expected! It’s a secret spot, Turtle Island Tour report.

If it were not crowded, staffs follow you and give explanation. Here is the hatching place. Baby turtles hatched 3 days ago, so now it’s empty. |

| Until turtles are grown up, they live in square of water tanks by their body sizes. From the left picture, 3 days-old → 3 weeks-old → 2 years-old. When they are grown up big enough, release to the sea. |

| The adult turtle is living in this big pond. I tried to give them seaweed and take pictures… They move slowly but they look like having strong jaw. |  |

| Pasturing!!? There is the vivid body color parrot… Put him on the shoulder and take pictures! Other tourists enjoyed a lot so I also tried… I feel his real nails! And, long beak! Oh, no, I’m scared!! |

| This is the iguana. Reptiles have weird skin and different temperature! Heavy, cool, and skin is smooth touching. | Maybe, kind of eagle? He has beautiful wings, but I’m scared his sharp beak and nails. Takumi dislikes birds, and he rejected to touch the bird. |

| Last one is the python!! I am held by his slippery and cold body. I like reptiles… Especially, I like crocodile and snake… But, I realized that I like just watching them!! |

In the Turtle Island, there are so many other creatures, and I was really excited! You can take pictures with almost all of creatures, so if you want to have rare experiences and funny pictures, you must try. The access is also easy, just 10 min. from the beach, so you might try after you enjoy marine activities. After you enjoy playing with creatures, there is place to have refreshment and Indonesian food♪ |

Called as Turtle Island, there is a big artificial pond and big turtles lives there. I just watched them, and left. |

| This is WC near the entrance. It’s Indonesian style. Yeah, it’s suit to the atmosphere. | This is the cafe. There is a souvenir shop, too. The group of tourists was having coconut juice. |
First of all, I thought, it’s not just Turtle Island but mini-zoo.
I realized that I became to be scared of creatures comparing with when I was small. I thought I was okay because I was grown up in rural area.
