June 20th, 2009, we tried Sea Walker organized by CLUB AQUA! This activity is really unique marine sport; we wear the helmet which has full of oxygen and walk around the bottom of Sanur Bay area. You can breeze as you are on land, so you can try this without diving experience or you don’t need to worry about your physical strength♪ I’m curious about differences of Marine Walk and Dive Walk which are also same activity as Sea Walker. I’m not good at diving, I cannot swim… I’m really good model for this report. Aiko tried today!

Reception in Puri Santrian Hotel, 9:20 am Sea Walker is held in Sanur Bay, and the reception is in Puri Santrian Hotel. It’s near from Ubud.

Go through the garden in the hotel, go to the beach. There is the reception. I could see many Japanese tourists! After the reception, move to the room inside. They prepare new towel, mineral water and application form.

In this room, we watch the guidance video. It’s CLUB AQUA, they have English information. With towel, go to the dressing room. It’s really clean!

I can enjoy taking shower here. You should bring shampoo and soap by yourself. They have hair-dryer, too!!

Special shoes Aiko is ready to go.
Wear special shoes to walk the bottom of sea. Bring towel and locker’s key, ready to go.
Wear life jacket To the port
By the diving point, we moved by a small boat. During the safety, wear life jackets. They care us pretty much! Maximum 6 people can join in each diving. It takes just 1 min. to the beach.

Leave Sanur Beach. Let’s go! It’s just 3 min. to get the pontoon, so never get seasickness!
Shelf in the boat Left towel and key on the boat, now, go into the sea! I cannot swim… I’m little nerves, but staffs support me and feel relaxed(≡^∇^≡)
climb down a ladder

When climb down a ladder and the water comes to my shoulder, staffs give the helmet to wear. The helmet weight about 20 kg, however, it’s just 5 kg in the water so it’s not heavy. Keep going down to the water…

In the water, staff with diving equipment support beside me and climb down slowly. By each step down, I feel ear-pain. I have to adjust my ears to water pressure, so pinch my nose and adjust again and again… Don’t need to be hurry!

Today’s staffs were, 1 with helmet and other 2 were wearing diving equipment.

Calm down and arrive on the bottom! We walk for a while to get the place of handrail. We walk along the guide-line which divers holding.

Of course, it’s my first experience to be surrounded by such a big numbers of fish! I cannot dive or swim, but I could have such a experience〜 Happy, awesome!!
Aiko holds a big starfish. I found a big starfish. It’s valuable 30 min., so you must bring the water-proof camera! If you don’t have it, you can purchase pictures taken by CLUB AQUA.

At the last moment, I could meet the swarms of small fish! It’s wonderful sea world. It’s only 30 min. diving, but I didn’t think it’s short. I could see many fish in a short time, and my body expense energy under the sea ≧(´▽｀)≦

Going back to the beach and changing clothes, let’s go to the restaurant along the sea shore. Classy!
Club House Sandwich & Hamburger set

They have the typical Bali food, but I’m eating everyday… I ordered Club House Sandwich! Big portion, and tasty!!

 Over all, I was very satisfied with Sea Walker. Thank you.
Sea Walker: Aiko’s impression

Actually, I tried diving the other day and I thought it’s impossible for me to dive into the sea again! Plus, I cannot swim, so I was really good model of Sea Walker.

My impression is, don’t worry whether you can swim or not! I spent really fun time!! It’s the CLUB AQUA, all staffs support you all the time, and they can provide you information in English. The dressing room is really clean (with hair-dryer!), and we can have lunch at luxurious restaurant. They offer you great time plus Sea Walker.

My recommend is using Driving Service after Sea Walker! On the Sea Walker, you don’t need to take off your make-up or your hair is kept dry, so you can visit Ubud and temples. And, here is our optional tour which includes spa and sightseeing. Please take a look at it（＾□＾）
